1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the RentAHome website or app (“RentAHome”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, booking a stay or listing a property, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use RentAHome.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate details, including a working email and mobile number.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.
3. Booking as a guest
- A booking is confirmed once payment is completed. The price shown before you pay is the total you’ll be charged.
- Respect the host’s house rules, the number of guests booked and the check-in and check-out times.
- Cancellations and refunds follow the cancellation terms shown for your booking.
- You are responsible for damage you or your guests cause during the stay.
4. Hosting
- You must have the right to rent out the property and follow local laws, licences and tax rules.
- Listings must be accurate — photos, amenities, location and price must reflect the real property.
- Every listing is reviewed by RentAHome before it goes live, and may be suspended if it breaks these terms.
- RentAHome charges a commission on each booking. Your earnings, after commission, are paid after the guest checks out.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. RentAHome collects the payment from the guest and pays the host’s share after the stay. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
6. Content and conduct
Don’t post anything false, offensive or unlawful, or use RentAHome to contact people for anything other than a stay. Reviews must be honest and based on a real stay.
7. Our responsibility
RentAHome provides the platform that connects guests and hosts. Hosts are responsible for their properties and guests for their conduct during a stay. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from a stay.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll show the date of the latest version at the top of this page, and tell you about important changes.
